Can we move on from our lockdown lives now?

The second deadly wave of the coronavirus pandemic seems to be coming to a halt. Soon, we can say that the second wave of the pandemic has ended and a new third wave may likely occur by September or October this year. How the third wave will turn out to be that we cannot predict as we are nowhere an astrologer or scientist but just a common man who reads the news every day to know about the happenings around the world.

So, as the coronavirus lockdown restrictions are easing up all over the country, can we now move on from the lockdown lives and think of a better lifestyle with no worries, fear, negativity, and resentment? Guilt, feelings of hatred towards self and others, boredom, frustration, anger all seemed to get their places in our hearts and body due to the complete lockdown and partial lockdowns that we have been following as responsible citizens of the country.

What we went through irrespective of whatever age group we are in, the kind of trauma that happened to us in the last one year and three months is not something we are happy about to share with our grandchildren in the long run. It was a kind of getting jailed at the comfort of our homes for no fault of ours. Definitely, staying indoors helped curb the coronavirus to a major extent and as per the data, it helped save many lives that would have not been achieved if we would have lived a normal life without being locked up in our homes.

But now as we have learned our lessons of the following hygiene at home and outside, social distancing from other people at our home and outside places, and taking care of our health the best way possible, we can move on to better things in life wherein we focus more on positive energy, creating new things with full faith and courage and achieving our dreams in whatever way possible to stop reminding ourselves of our past memories of lockdown and help make this world a better place to live in.
