Who doesn't have stress, frustration, tension, irritation, disappointment, and fear of failure in recent times? Almost every person whom I met in the last two years has been complaining that they are dissatisfied with the way their lives have been going. Many people say that these are not the good times that we live in as it is the Kaliyug where nothing good can be expected in reality. Everywhere there are violence, hatred, illnesses, theft, and crimes. Like, every morning, we have started to wake up with the news of a celebrity either committing suicide or dying due to a sudden illness or divorcing/breaking up with their partner due to reasons best known to them.

So, how can we tell that people are really happy when there is so much noise going around everything bad happening everywhere around the world. I was wondering the reasons why so much negativity is spreading all over the world. I even wondered whether people really were so good or happy in the olden days as many elderly people claim to be. Some elderly people even tell me that they have lost their trust in God as their children are no longer supporting or caring for them as they expected them to be.

Even if the children are innocent and are genuinely trying to help their elderly parents, the negative mindset of the parents due to their old age physical and mental issues are creating a rift in the bonding and relationship that they had shared earlier. So, why is there so much stress? Is it because something really bad we are doing in our lives is adding to our bad karma? Or is it because we have shifted our perception to a sheerly negative mindset that whatever is happening around and within us is being viewed as stressful?

For example, in today's times, even if you drink Amrit, people have started taking that as a poison. So much negative energy spread everywhere that is making people doubt themselves and others as well. Everyone wants to live happily but how to achieve that happy state of mind is unknown and not really understood by them. For example, when I met a heart patient six months ago, she told me that she wants to see her children happy but she was the only one who used to talk so much rubbish and negatively that her children were unable to digest the distorted facts and criticism lightly.

So, if stress is taking over you, you really need to start ensuring that your stress levels are always under control. This can be achieved if you know yourself well and do not get carried away by what others think or expect from you. At the end of the day, what should matter to you is that you have done your job well and you would like to focus only on the good things that are happening to you with no room for comparisons, criticism, or abuse at the verbal and physical level. If you take charge of your health, I am sure, you will see significant changes in your life.
