Recently, Thailand pass a bill to legalize same-sex marriage, making it the first Southeast Asian Nation to do so. This decision get support in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

The new law give equal rights to same-sex couples and will come into effect within the next 120 days as formal approval from King Maha Vajiralongkornis pending.

The Thai government faced challenges in passing this legislation. This landmark achievement was met with celebration supporters gathered to march from Parliament to the Government House.

This move by Thailand is not just a victory for the LGBTQ+ community but also a strong statement in support of human rights and dignity.
