Washington: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has welcomed the Indian government’s decision to ban dozens of China’s apps. Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday that the decision will boost India’s integrity and national security. This is what Pompeo told reporters at the press conference held at the Foreign Department’s Foggy Bottom Headquarters.
Indeed, amidst the Indo-China border tension, India banned 59 Chinese apps on Monday, including Tik-Tok, Share-It.
“We welcome a ban on China’s mobile apps by India,” Mike said at the press conference. He said, “This step of India will boost India’s sovereignty. It will also boost India’s integrity and national security.”
