The trailer shows a sneek-peak on the tensions between Queen Elizabeth and Margaret Thatcher.
The new season will focus on the period between 1970s to 1980s. Gillian Anderson will perform the role of Margaret Thatcher who will lead the country in Falklands War.
The trailer saw Thatcher saying, “My goal is to change this country from being dependent to self-reliant, and I think in that I am succeeding.”
The royal family drama will explore a suitable bride for Prince Charles (played by Josh O’Connor) in the new season.
The season will also witness how Lady Diana Spencer (performed by Emma Corrin) will unite the British people through her fairytale romance with Prince Charles.
