Hollywood actor, singer, and producer Jeff Bridges says he has been diagnosed with lymphoma and currently he is under treatment for the same.
According to a health website lymphoma-action.org.uk, “Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that develops when white blood cells called lymphocytes grow out of control. Lymphocytes are part of your immune system. They travel around your body in your lymphatic system, helping you fight infections.”
The 70-year-old actor shared about his progress for getting cure for the disease on social media.
Jeff Bridges wrote on Twitter: “As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.”
Jeff also promised his fans that he will keep them posted about his recovery from the disease.
Jeff is renowned for his work in movies such as Starman, True Grit, The Last Picture Show.
