New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) today welcomed the Central Drugs Standard Controller Organization (CDSCO) decision to approve the emergency use of two vaccines of the corona virus covid-19 in India.
Dr. Poonam Khetarpal Singh, Regional Director of South East Asia Region in Health Organization said today that the decision to approve the emergency use of Corona vaccine in India is welcome.
The WHO said that the emergency use of the corona vaccine in the South East Asia region was first approved in India. This decision of India will strengthen the war against Corona in this region. Dr. Khetrapal said that the implementation of other public health measures along with the vaccination of the target population group on a priority basis and community involvement would help reduce the impact of corona.
