Srinagar: The World Health Organisation (WHO) has provided 100 oxygen concentrators to Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir to fight against COVID-19, Health & Medical Education Department (HMED) J&K said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, J&K UT has received fresh consignment of Covishield vaccine to further intensify immunization drive, HMED said.
However, the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed serious concern over alleged shortage of vaccine in the Kashmir valley.
HMED said the WHO has provided 100 oxygen concentrators to support UT of J&K in Covid Pandemic mitigation efforts.

J&K has on Tuesday received fresh consignment of Covishield vaccine. The immunisation drive in Jammu and Kashmir division to continue on a war footing from May 19. The government has also ensured for a continuous supply of vaccine doses to meet requirements, the HMED said.
