No mention of Coronavirus In Patanjali’s coronil application

New Delhi: ‘Coronil’ drug was launched by Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. on Tuesday for the treatment of corona. Hours after which the Ministry of AYUSH stopped the advertisement and demanded all the details related to medicine. In this series, on Wednesday, the licensing officer of Uttarakhand Ayurveda Department has said that Patanjali Ayurved Limited had only sought approval for license to increase immunity, cough and fever in the application. Corona virus was not mentioned in the application made by the company. The department has said that the company has been issued a notice regarding how they got permission to manufacture the corona kit?

Earlier, on Patanjali’s claim of making corona virus medicine, AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik said that his ministry would clear its stand only after reviewing the report sent by him on Patanjali’s newly launched Ayurvedic medicines ‘Coronil and Savori’. Ayush Minister Naik said that it is good that Baba Ramdev has made the country a new medicine for Corona, but according to the rule it is necessary to come to the Ayush Ministry first. The company has sent the report which may be allowed after viewing.

At the same time, Punjab and Haryana High Court lawyer Sukhvinder Singh Nara has filed a complaint against Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balakrishna and his company, bringing to the notice of DG of Haryana Police. The complaint seeks to file an FIR under Section 51/52/58 of the Indian Disaster Code, 1860 and seeks action under the applicable law of section 188/269/270 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
