New Delhi: World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Edhanom Ghebreyes warned that the chances of stopping the spread of the corona virus are becoming less likely. He said at a press conference in Geneva that opportunities were becoming scarce. That is why we have called upon the international community to take swift steps. They also include financing.

China’s National Health Commission has reported about 109 deaths in Hubei Province. According to official figures, 2,345 people have died and 76,288 people have been affected by the virus so far.

Italy’s Health Minister said that a 78-year-old man from the country who had been infected with the Corona virus has died. Italy’s Health Minister Roberto Speranza said on Friday that the man was hospitalized in the northern Veneto region for nearly ten days and this is the first death in the country from the Corona virus. All public places in ten cities in the North Lombardy region have been closed and sports contests and religious gatherings have been canceled after new cases of the corona virus were revealed.
