How to keep positive mental health during coronavirus crisis

Coronavirus lockdown has been extended by one more month in containment zones. While we are still trying to overcome the troubles caused by the lockdown, there are high chances of our mental health getting compromised.

We need to ensure to keep a positive mental health and well-being for our self-care and for better care of others.

Positive mental health means being able to feel positive emotions such as happiness, love and satisfaction. In order to feel engaged with life, one needs to have a proper balance of emotions and have the ability to overcome the regular stressors of life.

In order to cultivate a positive mental health, you need to identify what are your current energy sources? Is it good food? Is it good sleep? Is it being able to speak nicely with others and maintain good relations? You need to think it at an individual level to figure out these. In order to cope with difficult times, you can also keep a good mental health by

helping yourself and others,

doing yoga and meditation,

eating proper food at regular intervals,

getting in touch with others via online mode,

learning ways to keep stress at bay,

living a real life and avoiding artificial realities,

dealing with negative or overcritical thinking.

We will live each day happily and nicely and always HOPE for a better future.
