New Delhi. The Center said on Tuesday that two new variants N440K and E484K of SARS-COV-2 have come up in Maharashtra and Kerala but currently there is no reason to believe that both these types are responsible for the increase in cases in some districts in the state.
NITI Aayog member (health) VK Paul while addressing a press conference here said that 187 people have been found infected with SARS-COV-2 in the country so far in the country, while six have been found in South Africa. Infected types have been found.
In addition, a person has been found to be infected with a new type encountered in Brazil. Paul stated, “Both SARS-COV-2 variants have come to the forefront of N440K and E484 in Maharashtra.
