Meerut: Today two more corona infected died in Meerut while 42 new cases of covid-19 have been found. The total number of corona infected patients in the city has now reached 1557, while the death toll has reached 78.
According to the report of the Health Department, 2559 samples were tested today, of which 42 reported positive. There are currently 466 active cases of corona in Meerut while 1003 people have gone home after receiving health benefits.
Two corona-affected women died in Meerut today, both of whom were over 50 years of age. One of them was from Saraswati Vihar and the other from Brahmapuri.
Today 2490 samples have been sent for testing, while the test report of 2517 samples is awaited. Till date, 58739 samples have been tested in Meerut, out of which 52810 reports are negative.
