New Delhi: The trend of decline in new cases of corona virus continues, but it is a matter of concern that there is no decrease in the number of dead. The death toll from Corona has once again been recorded above 4000. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, 84,332 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, while 4002 people have died during this period. In terms of daily cases, the new cases registered on Saturday are the lowest in the last 70 days.
The total number of infection cases in the country has gone up to 2,93,59,155 (2,93,59,155). So far 3,67,081 people have lost their lives due to the deadly virus.
According to the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 1,21,311 patients have become free from infection, while so far 2,79,11,384 people have been successful in defeating the deadly virus. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decline in the number of active patients due to more number of patients recovering than new cases. Active patients in the country have come down to 11 lakh (10,80,690).
If we look at the ongoing vaccination campaign in the country, 34,33,763 doses of the vaccine have been given to the people in the last 24 hours, while 24,96,0034 doses have been given so far.
