The spread of corona epidemic in Meerut is increasing. The number of corona-infected people has increased to around five thousand. At the same time, the number of deaths and active cases is also increasing. In the last 24 hours, 173 corona positive patients have been confirmed, which is a new one day record.
According to Health Department data, now the number of corona infected people in Meerut has been 4978 out of which 1089 are active cases while 3756 people have been discharged after treatment.
Today two corona infected women died in Meerut, after which the number of total deaths has increased to 133. There are currently 325 people in the city in isolation.
