New Delhi: Coronavirus vaccine Covaxin being prepared in India can be launched on 15 August. Bharat Biotech is preparing to launch covaxin. During this, it has been instructed to complete the clinical trial. ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) asked to complete all the action on time.

This vaccine has been prepared by Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech. Let us know that just a few days ago, the company was allowed to do a human trial of its vaccine. ICMR Director General Dr. Balaram Bhargava has said in the departmental letter that the human trial of this vaccine will start from July 7, which should not be delayed, so that this vaccine can be launched for public on August 15. Bharat Biotech and ICMR are partners in preparing this vaccine.

The Indian government had allowed human trials of this first indigenous Covid-19 vaccine on June 30 itself. The statement was issued by Bharat Biotech that the company developed the vaccine in collaboration with ICMR and the National Institute of Virology (NIV). For the human trial of this vaccine, the Controller General of Indian Medicine (DCGI) has been approved.

Let us know that apart from the trials of Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, Zydus Cadilla has also got permission for the trial of the vaccine being developed for Covid-19. The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has allowed pharmaceutical company Zydus Cadila to launch Phase I and Phase 2 human trials of the COVID-19 vaccine.
