Yogi Govt Allots 3000 Crores for People Displaced Near Jewar

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, has set aside Rs 3,301 crore for the rehabilitation of persons who have been displaced as a result of the ongoing building of the Jewar airport. According to a government spokeswoman, roughly 7,224 displaced households have received Rs 403 crore in compensation for their relocation.

NIAL, dubbed the largest airport in Asia and India’s first net zero emission airport, is set to open at a cost of Rs 29,560 crore and would be the state’s fifth international airport. Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kushinagar are the only three international airports in Uttar Pradesh that are currently functioning.

The development of the Ayodhya airport has also been accelerated by the state administration. The airport in Noida will also serve as a logistics hub, particularly in northern India. People from all around north India would be able to use the airport to export their goods to worldwide markets. Zurich Airport International AG, located in Switzerland, will construct and manage the facility.

It is expected to relieve air traffic congestion at Delhi’s IGI International Airport. In addition, near NIAL, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is working on a number of key projects. Film City, medical device park, electronic city, and clothing park are among them.
