
The government of Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh is preparing to offer promotions to multiple IAS officers this year. For this, preparations have started for holding a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC). The names of the promoted officers will be stamped in the proposed meeting of the committee. After promotion, it is believed that these officers will get a new posting. The appointment department has sought time from the DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) on 27 and 28 December. After the promotion, the order regarding posting will be issued in January.

The state government wants to settle the promotion work of IAS officers before the notification of elections. At the same time, preparations are also being made to transfer many police officers from zone to district level before the 2022 assembly elections to be held in UP. Mahendra Prasad Agrawal, Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram MK, Dr. Hariom and Kamini Chauhan Ratan of 1997 batch are to be promoted from secretary to the post of principal secretary. It has DIG Luv Kumar, DIG Dr Preetdar Singh and Chandra Prakash II.

At the same time, Kaushal Raj Sharma, Zuher Bin Sagir, Selva Kumari J, Dr. Sarika Mohan, Pranjal Yadav, Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod, Rajendra Pratap Singh, Rajendra Prasad, Rajendra Pratap Pandey, Abhishek Prakash, Abbas Rizvi, Shahid Manjar and others of 2006 batch. Shakuntala Gautam will be promoted from Special Secretary to Secretary. Along with this, the state government can also consider giving the selection grade of 14 IPS officers. Apart from this, 39 IAS officers of 2009 batch will be given selection grade from Junior Administrative Grade and 31 officers of 2013 batch can get promotion from Senior Time Scale to Junior Administrative Grade Pay.
