Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered FIRs be filed against the six suspended police officers in the Gorakhpur raid case. A Kanpur-based businessman died, according to Uttar Pradesh law minister Brajesh Pathak.

According to the autopsy report, businessman Manish Gupta suffered injuries to his face, head, and other bodily parts. On September 28, Gupta was killed in a raid on a hotel in Gorakhpur.
