Yogi Directs FIR Against Police in Gorakhpur Raid

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered FIRs be filed against the six suspended police officers in the Gorakhpur raid case. A Kanpur-based businessman died, according to Uttar Pradesh law minister Brajesh Pathak.

Pathak stated that the government is concerned about the situation. “It’s a terrible occurrence. The government has taken cognizance of it and will be acting accordingly. According to the autopsy report, businessman Manish Gupta suffered injuries to his face, head, and other bodily parts. On September 28, Gupta was killed in a raid on a hotel in Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would meet the victim’s family members during his visit to Kanpur today, according to Kanpur District Magistrate Vishakh Aiyar. The businessman’s family has been awarded an ex-gratia payment of ten lakh rupees.
