WHO expressed concern over the vaccine’s reach

Geneva: The only way to control the corona epidemic is to apply vaccine to as many people as possible. But during this period of epidemic, the vaccine has been captured by the rich countries. The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Gebrasse, has expressed concern over the vaccine’s reach. He says that only 0.3% of the world’s corona vaccine has reached the poor countries, while the rich countries have 82% of the vaccine.

In one program, Dr. Gabreses said that there are more than 1 billion corona vaccine doses worldwide. Of these, 82% of the doses are with the rich and upper middle income countries. The WHO chief said that only 0.3% doses have reached the poor countries.

He said, “This is the truth. In the time of epidemic, the biggest challenge is to bring the vaccine to everyone. Because it is the foundation of political, economic and social stability.”

At the same time, the pace of corona infection in the world is not taking a name. According to the worldometer, so far more than 15 crore cases of corona have been reported worldwide. While more than 31 lakh people have lost their lives. In such a situation, the vaccine is the only weapon to stop the speed of the corona.
