Jammu: Two militants were killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Sopore area on Sunday. Currently the encounter was going on in which two to three terrorists are surrounded.
At present, the security forces have surrounded the area. A joint team of police, Army’s 22 RR and CRPF launched a search operation. As the joint team surrounded the suspect location, the hidden militants opened fire on them.
Retaliation has been taken by the joint team. According to the police officer, the security forces conducted a siege and search operation around midnight in Reban area of Sopore city after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.
