Twitter India has announced a custom emoji to honor the country’s 71st Republic Day on 26 January 2020. The beautifully-designed emoji shows the India Gate lit up in tricolor.
The technology company said that the emoji will be LIVE till 30 January 2020 and will be available for users to tweet in English and ten Indian languages, which includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu and Gurmukhi.
The company’s head Mahima Kaul said that such special emoji will allow Indian audiences across all languages and regions to celebrate and participate in public conversation in a grand manner.
Twitter had also released custom emojis for Indian users in special occasions such as Diwali, Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day and many other events in the past.
