Significantly, the team of Special Cell of Delhi Police raided Twitter India offices in Delhi and Gurugram on Monday evening in connection with the investigation of the alleged ‘Covid Toolkit’ case. A senior police official said that the special cell sent a notice to Twitter over a complaint related to the alleged ‘Covid-19 toolkit’ and sought an explanation from the micro-blogging site for tweeting BJP leader Sambit Patra’s tweet as ‘manupulated’. .
Last week, Twitter had described Patra’s tweet related to the ‘toolkit’ as ‘manupulated’.
