“Today four people are running the country, Hum Do, Hamare Do”: Rahul Gandhi’

New Delhi: During the discussion on the budget in the Lok Sabha, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, in his address in Parliament, targeted fiercely against PM Narendra Modi and his government. Taking a dig at the government, Rahul said without naming Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani that the government in the country is following the slogan of ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’. Now everything is done for ‘Hum Do, Hamare Do’ in the country. ‘

He said that today four people are running the country. Rahul Gandhi also put the government in the dock on the issue of farmer movement and employment. Rahul said that today our country cannot generate employment, will not be able to do it tomorrow also, because you (the central government) have broken the backbone of the country, it is not the movement of the farmers, but the movement of the country, which the farmers only take showing flashlight in the dark.

He said that the Prime Minister is running the country on the principle of ‘Hum do, hamaare do’. Taking a dig at the BJP-led NDA government, he said that this principle has come to us in the form of demonetisation, goods and service tax (GST) and the recent farmers law, against which farmers across the country are raising their voice. The government has given new meaning to the slogan of ‘Hum Do, Hamare Do’. The country is currently run by four people – hum do aur hamaare do. However, while saying this, Rahul did not name anyone, only said that everyone knows him.
