Kolkata: The Center and the West Bengal government have come face to face regarding migrant laborers. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has written a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding migrant laborers, accusing the state government of not allowing trains to reach West Bengal and termed it an injustice to migrant laborers. On this, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) hit back, saying that the Home Minister is lying. TMC has asked Amit Shah to prove the allegations or apologise.

In fact, in his letter to Mamata Banerjee, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that the West Bengal government was not allowing trains carrying migrant laborers to reach the state, which could cause further problems for the workers.

Writing a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Shah said that not allowing trains to reach West Bengal is an ‘injustice’ to the migrant workers of the state.
