On this occasion, Congress President Sonia Gandhi said in her video message that in this journey from the freedom struggle till now, the Congress struggled only for the values of country love, fearlessness, selfless public service, brotherhood, unity and integrity. She targeted the central government and said that “the rights of the people are being crushed. There is a glut of dictatorship all around. Democratic and constitutional institutions are being abolished. Unemployment is at its peak. Black laws are being imposed on the farmers of the country.”
