New Delhi: CRPF team is attacked by terrorists in Lavapora, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. One jawan was martyred in the attack while three jawans were injured. After the attack, a search operation has been started in the area. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the nearest hospital. This attack has been carried out on the 73rd Battalion of CRPF.
According to information received from sources, the number of terrorists is being stated as three. Those who ran away after firing a rash. During this period, restraint was exercised by the security personnel as the area was congested. The jawans could have harmed the local people if they had retaliated.
Let us know that this year 19 terrorists have been killed in the encounter by the security forces. Nine of them were from the Shopian district alone and two were top militant commanders.
