New Delhi: In the cabinet expansion today, 43 faces have got a place in PM Modi’s team. Mansukh Mandaviya has been given the Ministry of Health and Chemical Fertilizers. Apart from this, the responsibility of the new ministry created before the reshuffle has been given to Home Minister Amit Shah, while Kiren Rijuju has been made Law Minister.
Smriti Irani has been given the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Apart from this, Piyush Goyal has been given the charge of Textile Ministry. Ashwani Vaishnav has been given the responsibility of Minister of IT Communication and Railways.
Dharmendra Pradhan, who joined the Modi cabinet, has been given the charge of the Ministry of Education and Skill Development. On the other hand, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left Congress and joined BJP, has been given the Civil Aviation Department. BJP MP from New Delhi Meenakshi Lekhi has been made Minister of State for External Affairs. Along with this, he has also been entrusted with the Ministry of Culture.
Anurag Thakur, who got promotion in Modi cabinet, has got a big responsibility. He has been made Youth, Sports Minister in place of Kiran Rijiju. Apart from this, he has also been made the Minister of Information and Broadcasting. At the same time, veteran BJP leader from Bihar, Giriraj Singh has been given the Rural Development Ministry.
Along with this, the most popular leader of Lok Janshakti Party and Chirag Paswan’s uncle Pashupati Paras has also got a place in the Modi cabinet. He has been made the Minister of Food Processing. In the past, this department was also handled by his brother Ram Vilas Paswan.
Bhupendra Yadav, who is said to be a favorite of PM Modi and Amit Shah, has been made Labor Minister. Along with this, he has also been given the Ministry of Environment. Earlier, Santosh Gangwar was handling the Labor Department. On the other hand, Hardeep Singh Puri has been given the responsibility of Ministry of Petroleum and Urban Development.
