Shehla Rashid’s father accuses her of being involved in notorious activities

New Delhi: Jawaharlal University (JNU) alumnus leader Shehla Rashid’s father wrote a letter to the DGP of Jammu and Kashmir, calling his daughter Shehla as a traitor. Shehla’s father Abdul Rashid said that his daughter is involved in anti-national activities and is threatening to kill her. Abdul Rashid Shora has written a letter of complaint to the DGP of Jammu and Kashmir demanding protection . Abdul Rashid Shora has exposed the ‘infamous activities’ of daughter Shehla in his complaint to the Jammu and Kashmir DGP. He has said that she is conducting anti-national activities from my house. Shehla’s bank account should be checked.

Abdul Rashid Shora claims that Shehla has taken Rs 3 crore from ‘notorious people’ for joining Kashmir-centric politics. He said that there was a meeting between Zahoor Vatali (arrested by the NIA) and former MLA Rashid Engineer, who was arrested in the Terror funding case 2 months ago, at Vatali’s house in 2017. During this time Shehla was in the last semester of her PhD from Sociology.

Shora further said- I felt that this money is coming through illegal channels and will be used for illegal activities. I did not take money and told my daughter Shehla not to engage in any kind of transaction with these people. But despite my opposition I found my wife Zubaida Shora and elder daughter Asma Rashid supporting Shehla. It includes another person named Saqib Ahmed, who describes himself as Shehla’s personal security guard.
