On Monday, terrorists attacked the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrolling team in Handwara of Jammu and Kashmir, in which three soldiers were killed. The militants damaged a CRPF vehicle in Kaziabad area of Handwara in Kupwara district. Seven soldiers were also injured in the attack, while one militant was also killed by the security forces.
Officials said the attackers opened fire on a Naka party of the CRPF at Wangam-Kaziabad in Kralgund area in the district. According to officials, three CRPF personnel died on the spot in this attack. He said that the area has been cordoned off and additional security personnel have been sent to find the attackers.
Let me tell you that five security personnel including a colonel and a major were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Handwara, Kashmir on Saturday. A sub-inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police is also among those martyred. In the encounter, security forces killed Haider, the top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
