In light of this, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh met with Samajwadi Party head Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday. The discussion between the two lasted almost an hour. Following this meeting, speculation has begun as to whether the Samajwadi Party is ready to form an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party following the RLD.
According to AAP leader Sanjay Singh, who met with SP chairman Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday, November 24, the Aam Aadmi Party is on the verge of forming an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. He stated, “We are talking to each other and are on the verge of forming an alliance.” On Wednesday, Singh and Yadav met for an hour at the Lohia Trust headquarters in Lucknow. Sanjay Singh met Akhilesh Yadav roughly two months ago at Mulayam Singh Yadav’s birthday festivities.

Sanjay Singh had a nice chat, according to sources, and the election agenda was addressed. When asked about the likelihood of forming an alliance with AIMIM, Yadav indicated there will be no negotiations with Asaduddin Owaisi, the party’s leader. Sunil Singh Sajan, an SP politician, stated that the SP is continually backing minor parties in order to fight the BJP.
The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and the Samajwadi Party had already joined forces for the key Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled for early next year. SP chairman Akhilesh Yadav acknowledged their partnership by sharing a photo with RLD president Jayant Singh Chaudhary. Seat-sharing discussions between the two parties are in the final stages, according to insiders. While Singh would not confirm the merger, he did suggest that the two parties are moving in the same direction.

After an hour-long meeting with Akhilesh Yadav at the Lohia Trust office in Lucknow, the AAP leader stated that the seat-sharing formula had not been discussed and that they would release information if they reached a resolution on the alliance. “If the alliance discussions are successful, the information will be released. Sanjay Singh was reported as stating, “No conversation regarding seats yet.”
