New Delhi: A special cell team of Delhi Police has arrested another accused Iqbal Singh for committing a nuisance at the Red Fort during a farmers’ tractor rally on Republic Day.
A senior officer of the special said on Wednesday that the Special Cell team of the Northern Range arrested Iqbal Singh, who was absconding in the Red Fort case, from Hoshiarpur in Punjab on Tuesday night. The police had kept a reward of 50 thousand rupees for the arrest of Iqbal. Police arrested Deep Sidhu from Karnal in Haryana on Monday night.
Last week, the police had announced a cash reward of Rs one lakh to those giving information about Deep Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh. Apart from this, the police had announced a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for those giving information about Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh.
