The 1971 conflict is considered a turning point in India’s military history. We are proud of the military and its achievements. “Today, this year!” Rajnath Singh named the photo of “The Tool of Surrender.” On December 16, 1971, around 93,000 Pakistani troops surrendered to the Indian Army and the “Mukti Bahini,” paving the path for the founding of Bangladesh.
The defence minister also posted a number of images from the conflict on Twitter, including one of the ‘Pakistani Instrument of Surrender.’ These four flames are today’s compliment, where the Prime Minister joins the eternal flames at the National War Memorial.

According to the Prime Minister (PMO), on December 16, last year, as part of the celebration of Vijay Diwas to commemorate the 1950s, the Prime Minister ignited the 1971 war and the formation of Bangladesh. Regular postage stamps are produced to commemorate a significant event, activity, or person in the country’s history. Unlike conventional stamps, they are only printed in limited quantities to commemorate a specific occasion.
