The latest case is of Meerut in West UP, where the banner-poster of Rakesh Tikait along with Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary on NH 58 remains the subject of discussion. Farmers were blessed with these banners and posters reading Mission 2022. It is written in the poster that ‘Haar Gaya Abhimaan, Jeet Gaya Kisan’ will all be remembered.

Along with the picture of Rakesh Tikait with Akhilesh and Jayant, a big picture of the state general secretary of RLD has also been put up. In this picture, Rakesh Tikait is seen carrying the tricolor flag. Bhartiya Kisan Union has objected to this. The Bharatiya Kisan Union has expressed objection to the banners and posters on NH 58. BKU workers say that this is a political stunt in the posters and banners. Bhartiya Kisan Union has nothing to do with them.
The workers said that such banners and posters have been put up at many places on NH 58. BKU workers say that if someone wants to congratulate, they can congratulate personally, but if there is a political stunt, it is wrong. The BKU workers said that if someone is putting up Rakesh Tikait’s photo for votes, it is unfair, because their union is apolitical.

The workers told that the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait, will reach Meerut on December 15. For the arrival of Rakesh Tikait, the workers are preparing to welcome him with flowers. It is worth noting that the workers are still standing at the Western UP toll plaza. The workers told that they will do as they say only after Rakesh Tikait’s address. Before this, there was a reception ceremony of Rakesh Tikait in Kairana. In this ceremony, Rakesh Tikait had said that he is far away from the election.
