New Delhi: Farmers and opposition parties are protesting in many parts of the country regarding the new agricultural legislation. Former Congress president and MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi reached Punjab in protest against the agricultural law. Addressing the farmers who reached the tractor rally, Rahul promised that this law will be abolished as soon as it comes to power. Rahul Gandhi while targeting the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he wants to end the system of minimum support price (MSP), agriculture market.
Further Rahul said, what was the need to implement these 3 agricultural laws in the time of this corona epidemic? If the law was to be implemented, the Lok Sabha would talk in Rajya Sabha. PM says that laws are being made for farmers, if laws were made for farmers then why did not openly speak in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Why farmers are protesting
Addressing the farmers, Rahul Gandhi said that 2-3 billionaires of India want your land and your money. In the olden times there was a puppet game. Someone used to drive him from behind. Rahul Gandhi alleged that this is not Modi government, this is Ambani and Adani’s government, Ambani and Adani run Modi ji. He said that we are standing with the farmers and will not retreat even an inch.
