New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G7 summit being held in Cornwall, UK through virtual medium. He is participating digitally in outreach sessions on June 12 and 13. In his address, PM Modi gave the mantra of ‘One Earth – One Health’.
The PM could not go to Britain due to the current situation of Corona virus. The theme of the three sessions he is attending is Building Back Stronger, Building Back Together, Building Back Greener. As the chairman of the G7, Britain has invited Australia, South Korea and South Africa apart from India.
During the session, the Prime Minister appreciated the support extended by the G7 and other visiting countries during the recent wave of Covid infection in India. He highlighted India’s approach to ‘Samagra Samaj’ to fight the pandemic and also discussed the efforts of all levels of government, industry and civil society.
