Parambir Singh writes a letter to CM Uddhav, making serious allegations against Home Minister Anil Deshmukh

New Delhi: Mumbai’s transferred police commissioner Parambir Singh has accused Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He has alleged that Sachin Waze was asked to collect Rs 100 crore every month. On the other hand, the Home Minister of Maharashtra said that Parambir Singh is making these false allegations to protect himself.

In a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray, Parambir Singh said that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had ordered policeman Sachin Waje, accused of possessing explosives outside Mukesh Ambani’s house, Antilia, to recover Rs 100 crore every month from restaurants, hotels, bars etc.

He wrote that Sachin Waze, the head of the Crime Intelligence Unit of the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police, was summoned by Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh to his government residence several times in the last few months. At that time, one or two employees, including the personal secretary of the home minister, were present there. In front of everyone, the Home Minister told Sachin Waze that he has a target of depositing Rs 100 crore every month. Deshmukh told Waze that there are around 1750 beer bars, restaurants and other places in Mumbai. If Rs 2-3 lakhs are collected from everywhere, then 40- 50 crores will be received every month. The rest of the collection can be done in other ways.

At the same time, in this whole case, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that Parambir Singh is making false allegations in the Sachin Waze case to protect himself from legal action. Deshmukh said that Sachin Waze’s involvement in the Mansukh Hiren case, including Mukesh Ambani, is becoming evident and the investigation may also reach Parambir Singh.
