One week lockdown extended in Delhi

New Delhi: The graph of deaths due to corona infection in Delhi is not coming down. In view of this, the Delhi government has extended the lockdown for a week. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given this information on Sunday. This rule will be applicable till next Monday 24 May.

Significantly, the lockdown has been in force in the capital for more than two weeks. There is a decrease in new cases of corona, but, more than 300 deaths are being recorded every day. At the same time, close to 6 thousand new cases have been registered.

During the last 24 hours, 3,11,170 new cases have been reported and 4,077 people have died due to this epidemic amid the continuing decline in cases of corona infection in the country.
