Lucknow: VHP does not seem happy with the new population policy of the Yogi government. This is the reason why Vishwa Hindu Parishad has raised questions on this. In fact, questions have been raised on the one child rule in this entire policy. VHP working president Alok Kumar has written a letter to the UP Law Commission regarding this. He says that it has been said by the government to give incentive to the government employee on having a child, this rule will create imbalance in the society.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad has appealed to the UP government to remove the one child rule from the population policy. In fact, the Yogi government has sought suggestions from the public regarding the draft Population Control Bill on the website of the UP Law Commission till July 19.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad says that a policy of two children will control population but a policy of less than two children can have negative effects in future. He said that if one child policy is implemented in the state, it will lead to imbalance in population. That is why the government should think about this once again.
