Marches were organised in Sector 24, 49, Jewar, and Rabupura on Thursday. Officials spoke with residents to raise awareness about voter intimidation. Police also went to neighbourhoods where history sheeters live to deliver warnings about anti-social behaviour during election season. In the Phase 2 and 3 zones, an area domination exercise with the BSF was also held.

Extensive checks were conducted late at night at border crossings to prevent the illegal importation of booze from other states. The deployed staff have been instructed to keep track of the cars that have been stopped for inspection.
