New rules issued for domestic flights

New Delhi: The fourth phase of lockdown is going on across the country due to Coronavirus. In such a situation, after starting the trains, the central government has now decided to start domestic flights from May 25. Taking all precautions, the Airport Authority of India has issued guidelines for passengers on Thursday. Under this, it will be mandatory for the passengers to pass through the thermal check area before entering the airport terminal building. Also, travelers have made it mandatory to have the Arogya App on their mobiles. There are some things that are very important to know before going to the airport.

Passengers must arrive two hours before the flight’s departure time.

If their flights are within four hours, passengers will be allowed to go to the terminal building.
All passengers must wear masks and gloves.
Passengers must undergo thermal screening.
It is important to have the Arogya Setu App in the travelers’ mobiles.
Children below 14 years are exempted from the Arogya Setu App.
If they do not see the ‘green’ option or if they do not have a government contact tracing app then they will not be allowed to travel.
Trolleys of passengers will not be approved except in special cases. They will also have to be disinfected for this.
State governments and administration have to ensure that public transport and private taxis are available for passengers and airline crew.
Only private vehicles or select cab services will be allowed to carry passengers and employees to the airport.
Let us know that the Minister of Civil Aviation said that there may be fewer flights, it will not be practical to keep the middle seats empty, because this will increase the price of tickets. Explain that to prevent the spread of corona virus infection, all commercial passenger flights are suspended in the country from March 25 amid the applicable lockdown.
