Hours after presenting his 10-point “Punjab Model,” Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu blasted Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal, calling him a “political tourist” as he was absent in Punjab for more than four years and referring to his post-poll administration template as a “Copy-Cat Model.”

Sidhu described Kejriwal’s “Punjab Model” as “Liquor Mafia Model”, “Ticket for Money Model”,  “I am very sorry Majithia Ji: the Cowardice Model”, “Writing free cheques model”, “Electricity to Ambani’s Model” and “450 jobs in five years Model” and directly attacked in the Punjab agenda of Arvind Kejriwal.

Sidhu pledged a day ago that if his party wins the assembly elections, he would set up a state-owned liquor firm to raise approximately 25,000 crore in income. He also vowed to establish a state-run sand mining firm and a cable industry regulatory commission.

Punjab people will vote on February 14 and the results will be published on March 10, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India.

The Congress assumed the administration in the state after gaining 77 seats in the 2017 assembly elections, ousting the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party government. With 20 seats, the AAP became the second-largest party.
