New Delhi: BJP chief JP Nadda has reportedly warned the BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh Surendra Singh not to interfere in the Ballia day-light shooting probe and also sought an explanation from him.
As per the reports, Nadda has asked the party chief in UP to look after the matter and assure that Singh’s interference into the matter is restricted.
BJP national president JP Nadda spoke with UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, expressing his displeasure over statements of MLA Surendra Singh regarding Ballia incident. He asked the party’s UP chief to convey it to MLA Surendra Singh to stay away from the probe, news agency ANI reported quoting BJP sources.
On Thursday, the incident of hooliganism was recorded on-camera in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia as the 46-year-old Jaiprakash was allegedly shot dead by Dhirendra Singh, a BJP worker who is said to be close to party MLA Surendra Singh.
It is worth noting that Surendra Singh was in news few days ago also for his statement amid the Hathras agitation by saying that in order to control over the rape cases, it’s the duty of all mothers and fathers to imbibe good values in their daughters and bring them up in cultured environments.
