Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive here on Thursday to gift development projects worth Rs 1583 crore to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. These projects related to tourism, health, transport and other basic needs will see another big change here.
Official sources said on Wednesday that in view of the Prime Minister’s programs, all the preparations have been almost completed. Elaborate security arrangements have been made. In a public meeting organized in the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus, he will inaugurate and address the countrymen along with the foundation stone. Following the Covid guidelines, seating arrangements have been made for 5000 people here.
This will be Prime Minister Modi’s second visit to Varanasi after the global corona pandemic started. Before this, he had come on the occasion of Dev Deepawali on November 30 last year and participated in various programs.
He said that Mr. Modi would come to the public meeting organized at IIT ground at BHU at around 11 am, where he would inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth billions of rupees.
