Meerut: Harshit Bansal of Meerut has created a new record by putting 12638 diamonds in his Marigold Diamond Ring. This 165.45 gram ring has 38.08 carat diamond studded in 8 layers. This ring has now been included in Guinness World Records. A month ago, Hyderabad jeweler Kotti Srikanth made a record by putting 7901 diamonds in a ring but his record was broken in a month.
Harshith, 25, learned the art of designing jewelery in Surat after doing his BBA and MBA from SRM University. He says, it started in 2018 when my wife and I read about a ring. It had 6690 diamonds attached to it and was included in Guinness World Records. It was at that time opening its first store in Meerut. It was a challenge for me. Work on this ring commenced in 2018 and was completed in 2020. He owns a store that he named after his father Anil Bansal and mother Renu Bansal.
Every diamond on this ring is unique in itself. This ring has been certified by the International Gemological Laboratory (IGI), which is among the most prestigious Labs of Diamond Jewelery Certification in the world. This ring can be worn. How did the design of marigold come to mind? Harshit said that he had been thinking about design for a long time and finally found the design in his garden.
He glanced at a marigold flower and placed it between his fingers. At the same time, he decided to make a ring on this design. Each petal of the ring is of special shape and no petals are like each other. Harshit said about its price, it is priceless. We will keep it to ourselves. We have an emotional attachment to it.
