New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that the country is set to get recession due to Corona virus, along with it he has also suggested three measures to deal with it. Speaking to the BBC, Manmohan Singh told the government that people Should secure livelihood. Along with this, they should maintain their spending capacity by giving them financial help.

Manmohan Singh has suggested three measures to the Modi government, so that the economy can be restored again in the coming years. According to him, the most important thing is that the government should ensure that people have money for everyday expenses, for which the government should provide them with cash captivity.

The former Prime Minister gave another suggestion to the government and said that the government should provide adequate capital to trade and industries through government credit guarantee programs.

In the third suggestion, Dr. Singh said that the government will have to improve the financial sector through institutional autonomy and processes.
