New Delhi: BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh Ram Swaroop Sharma was found dead inside his house on Delhi’s North Avenue on Wednesday morning. Police have suspected the suicide and sent the body for postmortem. Ramswaroop Sharma became the second time MP from Mandi parliamentary constituency.
According to Delhi Police, information in this regard was received at around 8.30 am. The MP’s residence is in the Gomti Apartment, close to the RML Hospital. Delhi Police has said that a call was made on behalf of a staff member of the MP. According to police, the door of the room was locked from inside. When it was opened, the body of Ram Swaroop Sharma was found hanging inside. At present, the police has started investigating the entire case.
Earlier in February, 58-year-old BJP MP from Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Mohan Delkar was found dead in a room in Hotel Sea Green South, Marine Drive. In his suicide note, he blamed many people, including a senior politician, for this move.
