Lowest spike in 59 days, over 1.14L Covid cases in India

New Delhi: The effect of corona epidemic in the country is now decreasing. According to government data, the number of new cases for the last 10 days is less than 1.5 lakh. At the same time, the positivity rate is also coming down continuously. The number of active cases has also come down to 15 lakhs.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 1,14,460 lakh new cases of corona infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest since April 6. At the same time, 2,677 people died.

The total number of infection cases in the country has increased to 2,88,09,339. While the total death toll has gone up to 3,46,759.

According to ICMR, so far 36,11,74,142 samples have been tested for corona infection in India. On Friday, 20,84,421 samples were tested across the country.
