Lockdown extended again in UP, restrictions will continue till Monday morning

Lucknow: Lockdown has been extended in Uttar Pradesh. Now lockdown will continue in the entire state till 7 am on May 10. Earlier, the ban was imposed till 7 am on Thursday, May 6, but now it has been decided to implement it by Monday morning. The government says that the exemption granted during lockdown will continue conditionally.

Actually, the figure of corona in Uttar Pradesh is continuously increasing. After the panchayat elections, there is a danger of infection in every village of UP. Due to this, the government has decided to increase the lockdown. However, according to the order which came earlier, the market had to be opened from 7 am on Thursday to 8 pm on Friday.

Now the government has announced to put a lockdown for the whole week. That is, lockdown will continue in the entire state till 7 am Monday. The government has directed all the district administration to speed up vaccination and sanitization in the villages. During the lockdown, e-commerce supplies including essential items, drugstore will be kept operational.

Meanwhile, another order has been issued by the UP government, in which industrial activities, supply of medical or essential services, transportation of essential commodities, e-commerce operations, emergency medical and telecommunications, postal service, print and electronic media people connected with the service will not need to take an e-pass.
