Ranchi: Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav has got bail in the Chaibasa Treasury case amid election enthusiasts in Bihar, but he will not be able to get out of jail as the Dumka Treasury case is yet to be heard.

A bench of Jharkhand High Court Judge Aparesh Kumar Singh, hearing the bail plea of ​​Lalu Prasad Yadav in the embezzlement case from the Chaibasa treasury of the fodder scam, today conferred on him on the ground that he was sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment. Have completed 30 months in judicial custody. The High Court has also directed Lalu Yadav to give two personal bonds of fifty-fifty thousand rupees for bail in this case and to deposit the fine of two lakh rupees in the special CBI court.

Lalu Yadav will still have to remain in jail as he is a convict in the fodder scam Dumka case and he is yet to get bail in the case. Let us also tell that half of Lalu Yadav’s sentence in Dumka case will be completed in November. Due to which Lalu Prasad and his lawyer are also hopeful that after November they can be out of jail.

Know that there is going to be an assembly election in Bihar on one side. In such a situation, Lalu Yadav’s bail can be quite significant. However, before this, Lalu Yadav has got bail in the last three cases of fodder scam. Lalu Yadav, currently serving a sentence, is admitted at RIMS Hospital in Ranchi and now he is kept in the Director’s Bungalow here due to Corona infection.
